i guess i have to answer this one now.the minimal things to do are
1depending on your car you will need a pr3[cable tranny]p30[hydro trnny]b16a ecu or p-72/p-73 gsr and type r ecu [pr3 is only one to work on cable tranny unless you use an ecu adaptor].
2 steel braided oil lines [becuse non vtec blocks are not supplied enough oil]
3use an ls head gasket
4get b16a head b18c1 or b18c5
i think iam missig a lot iam drawing areal blank
some upgrades to make your ls/vtec bullet proof are.
1shot peined rods
2b16a pistons or any b-series vtec pistons
3gsr or b16a oil pump [gsr timeing belt required]
4same with water pump
oh i just remembered dowle pins must widen [the opening not the bolt]so the head will fit on the block.A good vtec head swap will only cost you around 1500-2000 dollars.
