I suggest making a course that works forwards and backwards, then make one lap go through it both ways and make a tight section where you switchback that you have to shift into first.

good point, i like ovals, but like most people say: they get boring real fast. but when you actually set up a determined coarse its not soo bad. and again ovals suck when you make a mistake. which is another reason your not going to have a huge turn out. the simple fact is most of the people drifting are driving their street cars, and a track thats not forgiving when you make a mistake is not fun to drive on cause your always worried about fucking up and totalling your car. this isn't fast trucks or a series that all the cars are dedcated race cars. these are people's DAILY DRIVERS!!! so you can understand why people feel a certain way about soemthing when it comes to wrecking their hard earned and built money. cars are a labor of love, why would you want to go to a track just so you might have a shot at destroying it, especailly on a beginner level. thats the only point i'm tring to make.
