Only if you run your system for an extended period of time with your car off. The majority of power is drawn from your alternator when your vehicle is running, hence why you should be pulling close to 14 volts when your car is running and only 12 volts when your car is off.....which is also why you want to try and always have your car running when you're bumping your system. The amps your running are smaller, and should have no impact on your vehicle's stock electrical system. If it did, however, a better battery (such as an optima red top) and high output alternator should be considered, along with upgrading the wiring between the alternator and battery.
