I personally know 2 others here with 7s...
one we are rebuilding his engine ..and geting it ready for porting..
the other just droped a rotor and apex seal like 2 weeks ago..

I myself ill park my car soon...Im debating right now..fi my Caddy or renew the tags on the 7 ..but another engine.and build it then park it later..

I ran at the track about 3-4 months ago..
with bad second gear syncro..(cant shift above 5 k without grinds)
Bad clutch...stock insides @15.6

Im not satified....and not done with the car...
Money is tight and kids, family comes first....But im sill tring to push out $200. a week..just for mods on the car..So im doing alot of overtime for the next 2-3 months.

I just did quick round of what I got in the car..with mods..and price of the car....About $920. and running 15s im ok with ...cause the turbo set up and porting..will be around 2-3k with other acessories..and going for 350-500 hp...depending on turbo size...

Not sure of the 1/4 time..this will still be a daily driver...<<(should of said not a full track car)

I got plans for a Toyota/rotary conversion..So if anything nices comes while im doing my 7 I will get and save..
I passed up deal on a TII engine..$400.
