Ill say stay all motor. and build the b16 cheap and fast. Get yourself a set of ctr pistons for about 300 dollars brand new. Get Spring and retainers and skunk2 stage 1 cams, dont go any higher. if you want, also port and polish the head. upgrade the headers to some mugen or type r 4-1. dont go 4-2-1 like most of these guys and dont get DC sport, thats more like for stock setups only. get an exhaust system with a nice quite exhaust, maybe the apex'i world sport, its quite and you could keep your daily driver. chipped p28, u might wanna use a mugen or/ and skunk2 program with a rev limiter about 9,000. get yourself a nice competition clutch (stage 3 probably) and a heavy duty pressure plate with a steel flywheel for better launchin. and get urself a Apex'i Vafc and get it tune professionally. You are lookin at a b16 running good numbers and makin gs-r's and type'rs looking like single cams... if you know how to drive...... its fast, cheap and reliable. since using the OEM CTR pistons, gives your block good compression and nothing serious to blow it. and the head would be safe with the parts that would you get. And maybe these cats out here wont be running good numbers but i was with the setup on a hatchback with streettires and full interior on the low 13s, High 12s... on a b16.... and you aint spending your 4000k if you do it right. there you go, you got yourself a fast reliable car for less than what you expect...
any more questions, PM me back, oh by the way...... im from NY, so i dont know any tuners out here... so i cant help you with that.....
