Officials should give the teams some room to test... allow the engineers at the BIG 3 + Toyota to develop aero packages... hell racing is about R&D as well as entertainment. Maybe some of the stuff will make it to production cars.
GM has been using the ALMS Corvette for testing purposes for 10 years now.
