Got a problem and need some help troubleshooting. Ever since I've gotten the car down here in Tampa it's been making a chattering noise around the tranny area. It doesn't do it all the time, it's totally random. It seems as though it's coming from around the bell housing for the most part so I'm starting to think clutch. I've got an ACT2600 with a 12.5lb XACT flywheel. They've probably got around 3k or 4k miles on them. I searched on tuners a little bit and you get mixed reviews there of course. But most of the guys in that thread were saying that it's most likely the clutch springs failing. I'm just looking for your guys' input on this and your experiences with ACT products. You pay like $650 for a clutch and flywheel and it takes a crap on you a few thousand miles down the road??? Sounds pretty shady to me...
