You havn't had the discussion on the different types of drive chains you can buy, o-ring,x-ring,standard, tensile strength etc.! j/k the dude at the parts counter should give you what you need. That's what I love about motorcycle shops, (the trusted ones ie NOT BARNEY'S ) , the guys at the parts counters are enthusiests and know what you need and don't need and can explain it. Unlike a car dealership where no one knows a damn thing.
