I'm wondering if I'm going to be safe with my setup on the stock block or not. Here's what she's getting: TF twisted wedge heads, track heat upper/lower intake, stage 1 cam, 1.7 rockers, Vortech S-trim w/ Anderson power pipe and different pulley(kit rated at 14psi), 38lb injectors w/80MM mass air, 70mm throttle body, 255lph fuel pump, .355 gears and other misc. stuff. Is this too much for the stock block(it's a 91' so I believe it came with forged internals)? It will be under 500hp. I could go with the same setup less the power pipe and that would put it at about 10psi. What's everyone's thoughts? Block and car only have 29k on the ticker that's why I don't want to change the block out plus $$$.
