Well this was in Lake County, but I fought one. I was ticketed for 72 in a 55. I went to court and they showed the judge the reading from the radar and the last time it was calibrated. I just told him I saw the sheriff coming towards me and naturally I looked at my speedo & it said I was going 65. He said since I was honest enough to admit to speeding that he'll cut it in half and change it to violation of traffic control device. I ended up only having to pay $75. It also depends on if the cop even shows up. If not then you win!
