However, I don't have a fast idle valve.... I have the JG TB with the block off plate... and i've replaced my IACV with two known working ones, and it still has the problem.. however the problem is not a vacuum related problem. more like an electrical signal not letting the injectors open until i push the gas far enough for the motor to sort of "kick in".. there is no slight acceleration, it either goes, or it doesn't... same when letting off of the throttle. and there's that fuel cutt-off sort of thing when rpm's hit around 2000, whether on the throttle or idling (that's another issue... fuck JG)
A vacuum leak or an improperly set TB screw will result in the IACV not being able to remove sufficient air and a code being thrown. Since you have an aftermarket TB my bet would be that a) your TB screw is improerly set or b) your TB plate is not fully closed at idle
