Default Curious on a dyno...

I live in St. Pete and just wondering where I can take my car to a dyno that has experience with Mitsubishi's. I got a SAFC II and I'm wanting to tune the car after I replace some parts which supposely will be here this week. I'm going to try to tune it myself if I pick up a datalogger this week. But the question I have about the dyno's (Take into consideration I never taken a car to get dynoed nor have a I seen an actual dyno... you can laugh if you want )... I know they caculate whp, trq but how would these things help in tuning? Do you have to tune it yourself or do they help you? What place that has a dyno should I take it to? Oh yeah and how much does it usually run? BTW, yeah my car is NT but besides that I've owned a turboed 1g before but I would like to stick with my 2.0 NT... its more reliable to me.

Sorry if my questions were dumb but I'm a noob when it comes to the almighty dyno
