isnt one of the keys to our economy the auto industry? if the big three dont sell then our economy slows down. so my question is why would the government take bribes from companies that arent even going to help our economy?
Ok my ability to make point clear and concise was not used there in my rant, I wasn't trying to say that Toyota was bringing down govt. I was simply using that as an example of money makes everything go round. I'm just tired of seeing domestics catch a bad rap, when imports have the same quality and reliability issues, it's just that no one ever talks about it. Import dealerships have just as many vehicles on their service racks as domestics do. Although I do agree that in the 80's and earlier 90's domestic brands blew it, with thinking to economical (quanity better than quality), but times have drastically changed and domestics are right there if not surpassed most import quality and reliabilty.
