So youre telling me that foreign companies can pay for lobbyists but the big three cant? What can they not afford it? Forgive me, but youre getting little too conspiracy theory on me here.
Money and all those other things may be a factor, but at the end of it all the foreign automakers simply reacted better/faster to the changes in the American market. Ever since the muscle car era ended American companies have been a step behind the rest.
