I don't think someone should be able to say,
"The car is without a doubt a 10 second stock sleeved D-Series!" when it's never made a 10 second pass. That's all I've been saying all along and I've heard it done many times by many people, that's why I even brought it up in here. The math does not matter, that's like someone leaving the dyno and saying they have the power to run 9's yet when they actually go to the track they blaze the tires to a 11/12 second run (supra joke, lol) It's silly that we're even arguing this. Experience in the real world doesn't always jive with the numbers, that's one of the frustrating things about racing. Someone could buy that car, be a hell of a driver and go lay down a high ten first time out. Or the 11.2 could have already been run by a hell of a driver and the only way the car will see tens is to spend even more money on suspension, tuning, etc..... You know as well as I do that it gets harder and harder to knock anything off your ET as you get faster and faster. 2-3 tenths off a 11.2 car is no small feat and certainly nothing to trivialize as if it's already a done deal. Where's Ron at? Ron, tell us how easy it is to knock a couple tenths off your ET these days
