What exact tire do you want to put on there? For instance, Mickey Thompson measures their tires differently between ET Streets and ET Drags. The drags they measure the tread width. For ET Streets, they measure the widest point of the tire (the buldge in the sidewall). A 26x10.5 ET Street is actually built on a 26x8.5 carcass.
And forget about drag radials. All of those measure differently.
true. had them both and they were real similar in size.
my 26/8.5 were a tight fit w/5.5 back space and a sn/95 rearend.
