Absolutely! Garrett considers their DBB turbo's as Non-Rebuildable... basically throw aways.
They use specific tools to build the turbos and do not sell replacement parts... short of the entire cartridge.

It's not like a non BB set-up where you just pop the inpeller off and on... they are balanced as well...

I know others know more than I... hopefully they will jump in and add value.

I am always up for learning more.

and back to the topic.... Are there any places local that have experience with DBB turbo repairs?
