Well, technically thats not true. You can't just increase rwhp without upgrading the clutch/sometimes the trans/input shaft/driveshaft/and sometimes parts of the rear suspension. It doesn't matter if you drag race or not. There are weak links that you are going to have to deal with in order to increase the power output.
But a lot of you guys are forgetting something. Driving a drag only car on the street is usually not a fun thing (depending on how far you have taken it). Your forgetting that the large majority of people don't have enough money to spend on having a nice daily driver, and then a 9sec drag car. So, most of us just modify our daily driver cars. And that means they aren't going to be set up perfectly for drag racing.
This is probably the first time I have ever stuck up for roll racers.

But I just think its funny how over 80% voted for dig, but yet, the last time I went to a major car meet, hardly anyone wanted to start out under 60mph. You have to admit, that on the street, racing from a dig is not always an option (depending on where you are).
