H23A1 were rated at 160HP (to the flywheel) And I believe torque was 140-150ft-lbs? I know mine back in the day made 150whp and 153 ft-lbs of torque with Gude cams, stock exhaust manifold, milled head, aem cai, msd ignition, skunk2 cam gears and an s-afc. Strong motors and yes, the H22 head bolt up.
