Engine Lab has the cleanest facility, and the most technologically advanced tools for boring and honing within a 150 mile radius. You give them the specs, they do the job in a timely manner, and when you get it back and check the specs, they are as close as .0001!! In my years of building motors, NO machine shop (and believe me, I've tried a whole lot of them) can get to within .003! That says a lot, and when it really counts, tolerances are very important. I recommend Engine Lab over any other machine shop within easy driving distance, bar none.
I also recommend Engine Lab for block work. Everything they have done for me has been high quality and what I asked for. I can no longer say that about Eisley's, who I used to use for block work but now only use for valve jobs and what not.
