Just let them think what they want. They look at it from the point of using all factory components. So in a sense they are using stock parts (ok its a long shot). What fun is using factory components? Most of the time they cost the same as aftermarket!

As for a Civic doing 14.8. That may be good for them. Remember a VR6 has about a 1L/2cyl. advantage. So it can accomplish that task easier.

As for the S2000. Talk about a boring car. I went for a ride in one and the word thrilling didnt come to mind. Yes it is fast but it didnt have that surge which shoves you back in your seat. Maybe thats because it has less torque than my VR6.
