Just replace the tensioners. They can be purchased for like $25-$30 or so, not real expensive. Better to replace those parts and be safe, rather than have the tensioner fail on you, slacken the T-Belt, causing the belt to skip and bending valves in the process.
i agree, hopefully i can finish up my Talon tonight (just put a new clutch in it) so i will be able to park the eclipse and get the parts swapped out.
