Insurance probably wont be that bad on a 87-93 5.0 and you can find a pretty nice one for that price. I got my automatic 2002 camaro z28 when I was 17 and the gas isn't that bad. I would think that it would be better in a 5 speed fox but I'm not 100% sure on that. Anyway just get what you will enjoy the most. Don't worry about what we have to say
