It is possible.

1) Get rid of the stock tranny. They were designed for MPG not racing. The Zx-2 tranny is better suited for racing but it is not as strong as the MTX (stock Focus tranny).

2) Let the car breath with an air filter chip and exhaust. The Focus also needs more fuel but most chips will take care of that. I have a dyno sheet around that showed 14+ hp from the above mods.

3) Buy the Esslinger stage II head. They have seen 40+ hp from this set-up. They shave the head to increase cr p&p the passages inrease valve size and add their cams.

You will drop at lease $2000.00 but you will dip into the low 14s and *maybe* the high 13s with 14 wheels and good rubber.

I would stay away from the supercharger system for now. They dont have the fuel problem figured out yet! The car leans out up high. Some independent tuners are working on chips right now to resolve this.
