Then again it could also be the damn sensor that isnt calibrated for my injectors

I used to have similar problems with my car. My car was originally a non-MA, 4 Cyl.
I started with the starter, bolting it off and finding the teeth in it were in pretty bad shape, so I replaced the starter. Then I pulled out the 24/lbs injectors and busted MAF and replaced them with all stock stuff. The computer that was in the car had been opened and left exposed, and when I opened it up I found 3 blown capacitors. I had one of my co-workers remove the capacitors and put in new ones, but after firing up the car it still wasn't sounding healthy. So I replaced the computer with an A3M1 I got from another TR member. Car fired up fine but idle'd a little funny, and still had shut-off issues. I moved on to fuel, wiring, and distributor/spark. I also changed wires, plugs, fuel filter, cap, rotor and the TPS sensor. The car had good compression the entire time, and was getting spark previously and still was after I had changed plugs & wires. I checked fuel pressure and it was really, really low. Somewhere in the process the fuel pump went out, so I replaced it with a Holley/Walbro 155. Fuel pressure went back up to a normal level, but car STILL had a shut off problem. Put in a new ICM, but it was only a temporary fix since the car started having the shut off problem AGAIN. So, took off my distributor and put in another one... problem solved. My old distributor had a bad pickup coil.
Might help you out, that's pretty much all the steps I took to getting my car back on the road.
