Yeah, it does sound like it's fuel related in some way. Sounds like the motor is not getting enough fuel at times, hence why the motor will just suddenly cut off.

Might want to check your fuel pressure regulator. Better yet, try contacting Brothers or Lancerman. One of those guys may be able to tell you what's going on with your car.
