higher octane wont, but too high will. if you put 110 in a car that it's not tuned for, it wont ignite properly. so it's gonna cause a lean condition.
not that it's a bad thing to throw 100 in it, but are you having a problem with knock that you need it for a autoxfor the trouble to find it you could just make some 96 and call it a day. cheaper, easier to get, and just as much protection. then again just my .02
