It's 4 degrees + not 8. Ive had the car @ 14psi before check engine light comes on, with the stock computer. Doesn't seem to adversly effect me at 6psi where Im at now. This is a rebuilt engine with 9:1 pistons. Im not pushing her hard yet, Ive attempted to hit VTEC prolly 5 times. There's no power past 4500, so I don't bother going past there.
I apreciate all your concern but your not reading everything im saying. When the car was @ 7 psi with stock pump and stock injectors and the 12:1 FMU it ran lean (14:1) Lasted until the boost creaped on me(6 months later). I think the SOHC motors are alot stronger then you people believe. Im playing this by ear, and I do listen to what you guys are saying. Im just adding in what your telling me with my own expierences... Also, I will drop the timing down today. Ive just been lazy about it.
