biggest bike i ever owned CC wise was a zx9r...My 06' 636 is way faster than that. there's no use to a 1000cc unless you've been riding for 5+years, or you're like 6'4" or like 250+ lbs. Experience is the best reason to go that high though. i know someone who is like 5'8" and 160lbs and has a crapload of experience and rides an R1 like its second nature. Controlled wheelies at 100+mph. Get experience before you kill yourself.
