i detail cars for a living and at our shop we have a few types of waxes that you can use with a buffer and it gets the minor scratches out. you have to 2 step or 3 step wax it with 2 differant buffing pads. auto magic makes quite a few good waxes. and to the clay bar it doesnt take scratches out it removes fall out from the cars paint
