He swapped a 96GST motor (GSX) ecu into a 95 RS body. it has light weight pistons, the rest is stock. The motor has blown twice since he installed it. Right now it's running again, has been for 2 months, except it has a _HORRIBLE_ hesitation when he gets boost. He thinks his turbo may be trying to lock up. Perhaps someone else could shed light onto this?

There's a boost leak somewhere. Check all the vacuum hoses, etc. and make sure air isn't leaking out somewhere.
