The traction really isn't affected that much by the time between runs, but one thing I do to help with it and to also keep the track fresh in my mind is to run at the very end of 1st run then get back in line for the beginning of the 2nd run then do the same thing for the 3rd and 4th runs. I do this mostly to keep the lines fresh in my mind haven't really done it for tire temperature reasons.
the track wasnt a problem.. the problem was tire heat
do not forget that kuhmo victorracer V700s were designed more towards autocross than the R1s
the R1s are road race tires so they do not have the heat properties that autocross tires do, they warm up more slowly..
