better hurry up.. i only got a couple more events left on my R1s, after which the teg will be retired from auto-x for good, and i will co-drive the nissan with anna for a while, as the CRX gets prepped.


learning curves, learning curves, i had to deal with it today.

i have some dozen and a half auto-x events, all on falken ziexes, and all but a couple with the front illuminas at 1, and the rears at 5, with front tire pressure of 44 and rear pressures of 38

i found a setup that works well for me, and i knew the car.

the R1s destroyed that relationship.. i had to dial the front shocks stiffer to help compensate for the stickier tires. since i used to have the rear shocks as stiff as they'll go, this reduced the oversteer.. so i had to relearn the car all over again (and try to re-adapt my driving style)
