ive been looking around and i have seen numerous 91-96 escorts with the mazda miata mtx engine swaped in them. i read somewhere that the miata and the escort have the same chassis and that the engine bolts right in. i was just wondering if it would be possible to swap this engine with that of a 97 escort and if so would there be any need for any type of fabrication or what not.
