Realistically, the Porsche probably is an attention-getting display piece, to draw attention to the products sold, installed and advertised on the backdrop.

It is a myth that faster cars for cops increase the number of tickets written. ...and a professional criminal who would need to be chased down with a porsche, can probably afford a team of lawyers, thereby eliminating the need to run, and also the need to be chased down.......

Now as a mental exercise, think of a crime so vile, and being committed in that particular country, that would require that type of pursuit......it doesn't exist...in my humble opinion...... -Bob
