I think what Cecil is missing is that when you build a Horsepower bike for the TRACK you get "X" number of runs, lets say 100 for giggles. Well that is only 25 miles on the road at heavy boost, or roughly two trips across the Howard Frankland. Quit riding it every where on the road and keep it on the track if you want to keep it together longer.
SL2....NO horsepower is cheap. You can add the power cheap but you can't keep the motor together cheap. That is what Frankie was referring to by going cheap, adding horsepower but not beefing anything up to hold the power. I spent a whopping $1100 on my turbo set up, but I got $3k in the motor to handle the extra HP (and still need more).
