It'd be the arresting office who;d get fired, or what-not. he's probably just the Holding Cell guard. just there to book him and make sure they don't harm themselves while they in there. i.e. drunks...druggies...etc.

Like most people have said, just glad he didn't pull the gun on the cops/guards. He did what the system needs to do...dead cold convict people without a doubt and then get rid of them if it calls for it.
No life sentances...
