Just a question? Why so much primer? Usually primer is just a filler coat once there is already a base coat on there, like spraying a little on the area that needs fixing saving yourself the pain in sanding down all that primer. Or since your going to white, using a lighter base coat to start with? Just wondering since most people think you have to primer the whole car to paint it.
There was alot of rust ALOT on there rear section s and the hatch so I had to grind all that down so I could get the rust off so it was bare metal. I am also going to white instead of green so I used light grey primer. I also primered the intire car because I live in a nice gated community and the old people complained that it was more than one color so I said fuck it and primered the whole thing. The hood was already primer grey because it also was very very rusty when I got it so I had to sand it all down.
