Where can I find reasonable KA's on the net?
PM me. I do a lot of SR installs, so KA's come and go... Why do you want to go SR? I've owned both and can tell you that KA-T is the way to go for drifting... period. My last SR car made 397WHP & 380ish @ 18psi w/ GT25R. The car was fast up top, but sloppy down low(useable boost coming in ~ 3.8-4k)... which is where you want the power to be in drifting. I'm currently running a 140k KA24E with a custom bottom mount manifold and SR T25. Other than that, EVERYTHING is OEM. (injectors,ECU,MAFS...) RISKY!!!... I know but E's are expendable at the moment. I've been pounding the piss out of it for 3 months now with 0 problems. The car is a blast to drive! It almost feels supercharged down low... practically INSTANT boost. My future plans include GT2540R(small but FREE), 50 pounders, Tial 38mm, porting, cam, HG & studs. I will be testing the strength of the OEM bottom end...(which I estimate will hold down 350WHP). Later, It's balls to the wall with a full build and plenty of positive pressure..
