the azenis are fine.. but if he wants to have some sort of competitive car, i would recommend he remain in stock category. you can get away with adjustable shocks to tune the handling in stock (which is my situation), but he must get another set of wheels (for daily driving) and run R tires on the stock wheels.

remember.. autocross is primarily driving, secondarily tires, and everything else is tertiary.
