With the right parts a boosted D-series motor can be pretty rugged. The great part about it though is you can pick up parts, hell a whole damned engine for under $500. Don't see that happening with B-series do ya?

As for the overbore, .02 isn't anything more than a cylinder cleanup so I wouldn't worry.
