Okay, update here...

I replaced the plugs with NGK BP6ES's. I went to 5 different places and none of them stocked the NGK 6ES's.

The car still has the same problems. The engine won't even stay fired up anymore. It will attempt to turn over, but won't.

Or it will turn over for a moment (with an extreme vibration from the motor itself, which can be felt throughout the whole car) and eventually die within a few seconds. It sounds like the flywheel is clunking rather loudly in the tranny also, but the flywheel should still be okay.

Yes, the Check Engine Light is on, but I don't have a scanner and unfortunately, the car is pretty much in an undrivable state. I can keep the motor alive if I step on the gas some, but the engine is very, very rough, and I'm afraid I'm going to do more harm than good if I keep attempting to start it.

The wires still seemed to be in okay shape (no tears in the boots or anything).

What else do you guys think could be causing the problem? I don't see any vacuum leaks of any sort. Do you all really think that an O2 sensor or clogged fuel filter could actually be the culprit of the problem?

Damn...I'm stumped. Anybody wanna come help a brother out? I'll buy some beer, food, whatever.

Thanks again guys.
