for street cars yes you will have to come down on ignition timing, not only because of thehigher compression but also because of the nitrous, i go back 1 degree for every 50HP. to take full advantage of compression and nitrous race gas must be used. it is really the only way to ge the full effect. it would be almost like getting laid and then only getting some head.
race gas lets you run some really aggressive timing not only on the bottle but with compression as well, gains on racecars have been seen of over 100 HP witht he proper timing and race gas on the SAME motor and SAME amount of nitrous being sprayed
