H beam means the style of the rods, like if you were to cut the rod in two and then look at the peices from the end, they look like an H.
stock rods are H beam too! alot of after market rods are H beam, some are solid too. mostly aluminum though.
stock rods are "ibeams" style but like said hbeam is the style thay are solidforged rods made to handle power and force and well balanced
