Don't ever feel that you are "too good" to take a very craptastic entry-level position. I took a part-time position ($7.50/hr with unreliable work hours) as a phone recruiter at Schwartz Market Research just to get some extra cash and some market research experience while I was looking for a full time position. Not even 2 months later I ended up with an offer for a full-time position with decent pay, benefits, my own office, etc. I know my experience is not typical, but you never know unless you give it a shot.
My thoughts are if you know what type of job you want or what type of career you wish to pursue...talk to people in that field/industry. Find out how they got there, and possibly ask them for a recommended course of action to help you get a foot in the door. Networking works wonders.
