It would be around $2,000 to ship your motor To Rotary Resurrection and have them rebuild/port it. You would have to take your engine out and tear it down to a short block. Personally I would just get some Rotary Aviation apex seals, then get the rest of the internals from atkins and just do it myself. $3900 is a total rip off, it is EXTREMELY EASY to take out a motor and rip it down to a short block (thats where I assume he is making an extra $1900 from) It is VERY easy to rebuild one of these motors, it would take a couple days to remove, tear down, clean, and rebuild your motor (if the housings/rotors aren't fucked up). Ask any real rotary head, go to rx7club and ask around, they will all tell you that $3900 is about double of what a normal rebuild should cost.

$1200 for the rebuild ($600 deposit required)
$300 for the port job
XXX amount to ship (probably a couple hundred there and back)
