The MAF-T is the only thing I have installed on this car. I'm not the one that stripped it, and everyone I've ever heard with a Type S has also had a problem with it.

Again, not entirely my fault. I have an HKS FCD gimmick as well on it, and so the last guy to mess with it put all sorts of crimps and connectors all on it. I was concidering just getting a new harness, but I might instead resolder some parts. The MAF-T also isnt the best sort of connection...force some metal prongish things into an 18 year old AFM connector..last time I put it on I sorta threw it all together (unlike the first time I put it on) to get it to work because I had to uninstall it for some reason. Not to mention it could quite possibly also be that the car is running too rich or not getting the best signal.

[QUOTE=williamb82]4th a wideband gauge IS NOT needed. all you need to do to tune it is put it on a dyno that has a wideband and make sure there is a competent tuner present. if you have to tune it daily you have other problems
I would much rather have my own wideband...its cheaper than a dyno in the long run, and if you want, you can lean it out a tiny bit to cruise at.

Again, you dont know me. I'm the guy who has to have things perfect and done right...for the last time, look at my car. Like I said, I could have it running if I REALLY wanted to, but only to make me look cool because I have a turbo Supra . I'm not going to get it running again till I know I have enough done to it.

Suspension? I have struts already, springs of course, and insist that it doesnt handle as bad as people make it sound...its not the best handling car no, but its not too bad.
Brakes? Cross drilled rotors and new tires make this thing stop plenty quick enough for me.

k. I know I dont have to do it this way, but its just not worth it otherwise IMO. If I supercharge this real quicklike then I can have something to satisfy me getting around town till I at least get the car up again.

Thats also how I function...before I do ANYTHING, the first thing I do is think "how will this help me do anything or get anywhere". I dont party, I dont have a girlfriend, and I dont drink/do drugs for that reason...these decisions arent all that spontaneous...hell if you were to look at a "future mod list" that I had made when I was 14, it wouldnt be far off from what I'm doing..I figure out the best things to invest in and go from there.

Dude...dont judge me..I know more than you give me credit for..hell I fix BMWs for a living.
