True race cars don't have AC so they use roof scoops to cool the driver, and of course for some mid and rear engine cars. For any other reason it is retarded.
I knew a guy that had the roof scoop mounted backwards like the above pics. He said it reduced cabin pressure. I'm still laughing as I type this. No lie.
on a race car with no AC I see a point, thats common sense, but on a street car with AC and power windows?
shit happens at mach 1 speeds if you dont have a backwards roof scoop!
