This is what my MSF course instructor said. I got that information off of him.


At the end of the class he was telling us the miscellaneous things about motorcycle laws, etc.

He was like "So it's not the law to have insurance on a motorcycle right?"

And the whole class said, "Right!"

He said, "Ohh really? Because it is the law. The LEO's can write you a ticket, and it is a mandatory court date. You just don't need insurance to register a motorcycle, like you do a car."






I've heard only the opposite though. Hell, I have insurance on my Bike, so it doesn't really effect me either way.
