The busa..well i think they have always had FI.. not sure on that one..and R1's didn't come out with fi till after 01.. FI have been hated on because they are still working bugs outta the system.. its fairly new (even now) for motorcycles.. carbs have been around since.. well.. since bikes first came out.. and FI a mere 5 years at the most.. put that into perspective and think about it.. carbs are cheaper and easier do it yourself.. FI is a bit more pricey and must be taken to a person that has the "tools" or computers to map a system, test it plus the hardware for your FI.. Both FI and Carb have their pro's n Con's..
